been a long time...

It's been a little over 3 months since my last post. I think because staying at home keeps me busier than being at a part time job did. Weird, huh? Well, the last 3+ months have been great. I love staying at home with my babies, even though there are days I would love to hang Livi on the roof :) She and I definitely go 'round and 'round, but that must be because we are so much alike. I guess. She's a great helper though. She loves to help me with Jackson, or putting clothes in the washer and dryer. She can be really bad at times with being rough with Jackson, but unless she pinches him, he doesn't seem to mind (probably because he knows in a year or so he'll be the one beating up on her :)). Jackson is doing really well. He's 6 months old tomorrow, hard to believe its already half of his first year! It's funny to see how different he and Livi are, and yet they are alike in so many ways too. For instance, by now Livi had 2 teeth. Jackson seems to be teething, but no evidence of any teeth yet. Livi was also rolling over and sitting up on her own by now too. Jackson likes to roll to his side, but that's where he stays. And for sitting up, he's getting better, but after a few minutes he falls over :) In the ways they are alike, their weight and height are pretty much parallel to one another. We go tomorrow for his check up, but I already know he's close to 19lbs. We've all been sick this last week, or maybe more. It started with Jason, then Livi got sick with a double ear infection. Jackson started coughing, and has an ear infection and bronchiolitis. Poor baby has to have breathing treatments 3 times a day. He doesn't like the mask, but he looks so cute! I got it last and I haven't felt this bad in years. Nothing I can really do though, without possibly drying up Jackson's source of nourishment, so I'm suffering through it. We've been talking a lot about going to the beach this year, and we have booked a place in Myrtle Beach! I am really excited, we haven't been on vacation in almost 6 years! Livi is pretty excited too, because every day she talks about the beach, and asks when we are going. That was our bad for telling her about it in the first place. So we decided to stop talking about it, hopefully she forgets, because we have about 3 1/2 months before we go! In case you are wondering, I do miss working sometimes. I miss having conversations with other adults. Jason is working on his masters right now, so he's either working on school work or at class, so I don't see him a lot. Tuesday's and Wednesday's are his class days so I'm with the kids for a lot of hours by myself. I'm not complaining because I'm the one who chose to stay home. Still, it would be nice to have things to do. I am just not very good at finding things around town, I know there are library times, but I'm not sure Livi would sit still. Hopefully with spring and summer around the corner I'll be able to get out more. I'm thinking about a Zoombezi Bay pass this year, but I need to find another mom to go with. As I finish typing Jackson is screaming, so it must be time for a nap. If anyone has any suggestions for free and cheap things to do around town, please let me know! I know people gave me some a while ago, but I don't remember :)
