A month til the beach!

I am so excited, probably more excited than I've been about anything in over 8 months (when Jackson was born). We are going to be at the beach a month from today! I can't believe how fast time has gone since we put down our deposit, which was over 2 months ago. I thought it was a mistake to tell Livi that we were going, because at first she asked about it EVERY day, but now she just occasionally says "mama, we're going to the beach in June!". And she tells everyone we see that we're going to the beach in June, lol. So now I need to start putting together my packing list. You probably think that I am crazy for starting this early, and I can't believe I've waited this long to start. Normally, for anything big like this, I start my lists way in advance. Like last year, for Livi's 2nd birthday, I started planning in March, and that was 6 months away from her birthday! Of course, Jackson would be born a week and 2 days before her party, so it was good that I planned ahead. The great thing about packing for the beach, is that I already know which clothes (for the most part) that I'm taking for the kids and myself. Swimwear was purchased almost immediately after we put down our deposit, and I've been scouring the 2nd hand stores for beach appropriate clothing for the kids. They probably won't wear everything I take...on second thought, Jackson probably will, since his spitting up is still out of control. I hope to be at the beach or pool the majority of the time, so maybe that will cut down on his dirty clothing? Oh, and I'm excited about this thing I just got from my Thirty One party! It was the hostess exclusive, and it's a huge bag, with 3 smaller bags inside, and I'm pretty sure I could pack everything for the kids in it! Our condo looks nice. The people that own it have a 2 year old, so there are already all kinds of pool/beach toys, so we don't have to take our own, which will be great to save space in the car. They also have an umbrella and chairs for the beach, so we don't have to rent one, or burn to death! So anyway, I'm excited to go. In July it will be 6 years since we went to the beach, so we are long overdue!
